Verified ReviewerShaw Academy's support department is refusing to refund my $59.99 when I cancelled within the 4 week trial period.
Keep in mind, I NEVER attended a class, YET Shaw Academy continued to send me lessons which I NEVER attended. The company offered to give me 6-months of free courses, BUT I do NOT want to be affiliated with a company that I BELIEVE is a SCAM. There is NO contact name...
Shaw Academy DID refund the $59.99, however AFTER the trial period expired, Shaw Academy charged me $59.99 AGAIN, AFTER I CLEARLY sent them an email to cancel/close/terminate my account WELL BEFORE the trial expiration date. I provided the Shaw Academy support team, with documentation, (sign-up receipt with a trial expiration date, bank debit copies, and copy of email cancellation request - see attached) to CONFIRM/PROVE my request to cancel the account WELL BEFORE the trial expiration date, however, Shaw Academy is saying that I did NOT cancel with the trial period, which is a LIE. I provided the necessary documents to CONFIRM my cancellation. I NEED help.
I am VERY upset that the company is/has ignored my requests, and is ignoring the documents that I sent CONFIRMING the account was canceled WELL BEFORE the trial expiration date. This is a VERY unfair, and HORRIBLE business practice, and I expect to have my account refunded $59.99 immediately!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. The date for resolution is showing as today but it wasn't long after I made the complaints that it was resolved and I received my refund..
Just a quick update to say that they did issue the refund and my account is cancelled. Kept the confirmation email in case of any future issues.

They are scam ,did the same with me
THEY DID THIS TO ME TOO! I had to stop my credit card because of them, they don't want to refund me!
and I'M SURE that I cancelled before the trail finished as everything was locked ! I'll never recommed this website to anyone!
The same thing happened to me, they have a long process for cancellation which I did follow. They said it was cancelled yet my card was still charged.
It has been 11 days and I have yet to receive a refund. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS, IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had to threaten to sue them for more than what they took inorder for me to get my money they tried giving me two different reasons y I couldn’t get refunded. 1st reason was that i had started the second module*I didn’t even start the 1st one* 2nd reason was that it was over 4 weeks that I applied June 11and supposedly June 21 made it 4 weeks

I did experience similar loss with this organization. I cancelled the subscription through portal and couldn’t call the helpdesk as they are supported only during business hours.
Terms and policy dint specify this point atall. Now they refuse to refund 69.9$ that they charged even without notifying customer.
Even after multiple follow-ups for almost a month and half now, they are not ready to listen to voice of customer. Please suggest how to get my money back.
this school is a scam i advise any one to never attened this place they just take people money without a reason or cause this school is full of bull and they no they are to also SCAM TOTALLY
Shaw Academy are scammers & they need to be stopped. They have unlawfully taken €94.98 from my credit card.
They even took money after they confirmed my membership was cancelled & my credit card details were erased from their database. I’m trying for the last 6 weeks to get a refund.
Their staff are unhelpful & incompetent. Please STAY AWAY from Shaw Academy.
This is the same thing that happened to me and that was months ago!! Now they are attempting to charge my card again. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH SHAW ACADEMY !!!
